A Tandem Skydive is a fun filled experience that you will never forget. During the skydive, you will be harnessed to one of our expert tandem instructors who will ensure your safety and enjoyment.
Your experience will start with 'one-on-one' instruction from your instructor who will take you through a detailed step by step description of your skydive as you prepare to 'gear up' for the jump.
Your ride to altitude, in our fast TWIN turbine aircraft, will take less than 15 minutes. You will be harnessed to your tandem instructor and experience approximately 60 seconds of freefall (until the parachute is deployed) followed by a 3-4 minute canopy ride that will carry you to a soft landing.

Want to relive your skydive and share it with friends and family ? Why not purchase a personalised DVD package. One of our expert videographers will accompany you through the tandem skydive experience and produce a 10 minute DVD. You will be accompanied and filmed as you gear up (the pre-jump interview), while on the airplane (describe how you feel during the ride to altitude, during freefall (see what you look like falling at 120 mph), and of course upon landing (to capture your comments after your adrenalin filled experience) and don't forget ...
the price includes a set of digital stills shot during your skydive.
Please note:
- You must be at least 18 years old and have photo ID to make a Tandem Skydive.
- You must bring and show your photo ID with you regardless of age.
- Please wear loose comfortable clothing and athletic footwear.
- There is an additional airlift charge of $25 for Tandem Skydivers over 230 lbs.
- Tandem Skydivers over 230 lbs will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
- Over 65's with doctors written medical clearance only.

Learning to Skydive
In the USA, skydiving licenses are issued by the United States Parachute Association (USPA). For those who want to continue to experience the thrill of skydiving on a regular basis, Skydive San Marcos offers structured training based on the USPA Accelerated Freefall (AFF) Program. Experienced / Licensed Skydivers
Skydive San Marcos welcomes experienced skydivers all year around. Our fast twin turbine aircraft will carry you in comfort to 13,000 ft in 15 minutes or less. Come and check out the Premier Skydiving Facility in Central Texas and the only DZ in the area that flies a TWIN.
Facilities include airconditioned indoor packing hall, swimming pool, cafe, large open landing area, paved runway, free camping, RV slots (additional charge) and a warm welcome from our dedicated professional staff.
Skydive San Marcos is a USPA Group Member, so you must have a current USPA membership to jump with us. Temporary USPA memberships are however available for visiting skydivers.
